Money, not the heart, drives house-buying decision in Metro Vancouver. 

Today's Vancouver Sun looked at what local residents consider when purchasing a home in the Lower Mainland and how this relates to their satisfaction with the community that they live in. 

"Metro Vancouver residents are largely not choosing where to live on the basis of what makes them happy, a recent Angus Reid poll has found. Asked why they live where they do, respondents were most likely to say proximity to relatives and place of employment were the determining factors.
