Ocean Park

Ocean Park has long been a very desirable neighbourhood in South Surrey. The reasons why people love it so much are because of its proximity to the beaches and parks, its excellent schools, the local shopping area, and the general feeling that this is a quieter, safer neighbourhood. This is a wonderful area for families.

Ocean Park comprises the area that lies between Crescent Beach and White Rock as one goes along the water. Much of the development in Ocean Park has occurred since the mid-1970’s. The subdivisions that are associated with it are Amble Greene, Hampstead Heath, Summerhill, Bell Park, Ocean Cliff/Trillium, and Crescent Heights. This does not comprise all of the area, as these subdivisions were  planned developments within Ocean Park.

The area is primarily single family homes. There are some duplexes, condo buildings, and townhouse developments in the area, most of which are located within walking distance of the Ocean Park Shopping Centre at 128th and 16th. The condos and townhouses that are there are very popular with seniors who want to sell their houses in Ocean Park but do not want to leave the area.

Ocean Park is popular with young families, couples looking to downsize, and seniors who have lived in the neighbourhood with their families.
